Variety has confirmed that McQueen (Shame, Hunger) is developing a TV drama, which tells of a young African American man with a shady past making his way in New York high society. McQueen (above, at this year’s London Film Festival) is co-writing the project with Matthew Michael Carnahan (World War Z), and will also direct.
McQueen and Carnahan will also executive produce, along with Iain Canning, Emil Sherman and Russell Simmons.
