First Image from British Micro Budget Drama, Chicken
B Good Picture Company have released a first image from their debut feature Chicken staring Yasmin Paige (The Double, Submarine) and Morgan Watkins (Wild Bill). Scott Chambers (UWantMe2KillHim?) appears in his first principle feature role while Michael Culkin (The Fifth Estate, Downtown Abbey), Helen Lederer (Absolutely Fabulous) and Gina Bramhill (Made In Dagenham, Being Human) also appear amongst the supporting cast.
Based on the play of the same name written by Freddie Machin, the drama centre’s around the lives of two brothers (Morgan Watkins & Scott Chambers) living in a caravan on someone else’s land, and the changes forced upon them with the arrival of the new landowner, and their daughter (Yasmin Paige)
Chicken is Joe Stephenson’s (Sky Arts series In Love With) directorial feature debut and is currently in post, having shot this summer in London and Surrey.
B Good Picture Company, headed up by Stephenson, has an active slate of features in development, including the Noel Coward biopic written by Martin Sherman (Bent, Mrs Henderson Presents) and an original British comedy written by Sarah Smith (Arthur Christmas) CHICKEN is B Good’s first feature and is produced by Joe Stephenson and Tina Galovic of Bold Turtle Productions.
