UK online diary service thecallsheet.co.uk recently announced the addition of five BAFTA winners, an Oscar winner and scores of other awards nominees to their online membership service of nearly 1,000 media industry professionals.
Setup by Matt Gallagher, thecallsheet.co.uk aims to help experienced professionals in film, TV, commercials and promos find work and stay better connected. Membership is restricted to freelancers, production and facilities companies with at least two years of experience or 10 different industry credits (i.e. projects made for commercial distribution) to their name. Once accepted, members are able to access a chase list, online diary system and jobs board, as well as news and directory services, free downloadable templates, an industry glossary and exclusive forums, discounts, competitions and benefits, all at up to 80 per cent cheaper than traditional diary services.
