Birds Eye View / movieScope Panel Event – movieScope

The panel, which is being held on Friday April 5 at London BFI Southbank, will see industry and distribution experts share their knowledge and experience in bringing foreign language, independent and ‘niche’ films to the UK, and discuss how any project can find a broad and wide-reaching audience. The discussion will include non-traditional approaches to film releases touching on new and inventive marketing strategies and expanding video-on-demand platforms.

The panel will be chaired by Kate Gerova, BEV Creative Director and former Head of Distribution at Soda Pictures. She will be joined by Anna Godas, CEO of Dogwoof; Katie Ellen, Distribution Manager at BFI Distribution Fund; France Lea, director of Strawberry Fields and movieScope’s editor Nikki Baughan.

Attendance is by invitation only, but movieScope is offering five filmmakers the chance to be in the audience for this special event.

If you would like the chance to secure a seat, tweet us @movieScope, using the hashtag #BEVPanel, with a link to your showreel or resume.

The five filmmakers selected to attend will be notified by Thursday April 4.

Please note, this event is being held in London, at 4.30pm on Friday April 5. No travel, accommodation or other expenses are included.
