CURZON ARTIFICIAL EYE launch On-Demand service
UK cinema chain and distributor, Curzon Artificial Eye today launched the UK’s first Day-and Date, On-Demand service to stream new films at the same time as their cinema release.
Called CURZON ON DEMAND, the service will offer new releases of art house, independent and world films to UK and Irish subscribers in high definition for viewing on a variety of platforms, including laptops, mobiles or television. The service kicks off on 10 December 2010 with the release of Mathieu Amairic’s Cannes 2010 Critics Prize winner, On Tour and Brian Welsh’s British drama, In Our Name starring recent British Independent Film Award winner, Joanne Froggat.
