First Image of Mike Leigh’s Turner Project
The first image of Mike Leigh’s yet untitled film about the British artist J.M.W. Turner, has been released showing Timothy Spall as the celebrated painter.
Spall leads a cast which includes regular Leigh collaborators Marion Bailey, Dorothy Atkinson and Paul Jesson. Georgina Lowe produces for Thin Man Films.
The film – currently in post production in London – is backed by Film4, Focus Features International and BFI.
