ICO’s Autumn Screening Days previews 25 indie films in Bradford – movieScope

Ang Lee’s Life of Pi, Wachowski siblings and Tom Twyker’s Cloud Atlas, Michael Haneke’s Palme d’Or winner Amour and Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers were just some of the titles to screen at the National Media Museum in Bradford.

The event was supported by Creative England and Filmbank. The films showed are scheduled for release in cinemas in the UK over the next three months

Other films previewed included the  Cate Shortland’s Locarno audience award winner Lore, Bernard Rose’s Boxing Day and Summer Days and Haifaa Al Mansour’s Wadjda.

Digital Theatre’s production of Lovesong, written by Abi Morgan, was also screened.

ICO director Catharine Des Forges said: ‘It’s great that so many regional exhibitors share our view that this is a really important event in the independent exhibition calendar and can benefit from seeing so many previews kindly provided by UK distributors to enable them to better engage with their audience.”
