Len Wiseman has signed on to direct a big screen adaptation of the apocalyptic sci-fi comic book Atlantis Rising for DreamWorks.

Wiseman, who directed the UNDERWORLD series and LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, also recently signed on to helm another DreamWorks project: the thriller MOTORCADE.

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who brought the project to DreamWorks back when the company was within the Paramount fold, are producing.
