Creative Skillset funded film talent development programme open to applications from writers, directors and producers

Screen Yorkshire has opened its national talent development scheme to applicants for the fourth consecutive year. Triangle 2014 is a ten month talent development programme that will support experienced & emerging writers, directors and producers in film to develop new working relationships – ‘triangles’.

Up to 66 participants from across the UK will be selected to take part in Triangle 2014, before being reduced over ten months down to three teams of three, who will then pitch their projects to an industry panel in London. A series of workshops and seminars along with intensive support from industry mentors will take place in Yorkshire and London to support each ‘triangle’ teams as they develop their projects to be market ready. Screen Yorkshire will also be working closely with Creative England to prepare and support Triangle 2014 participants to apply to feature film development programme iFeatures.

Industry participants in previous Triangle programmes have included representatives from Studio Canal, Salt, The Works, Distrify, Vertigo, The Agency, United Agents, 2B Pictures, 104 Films, the BFI, Film4, Hanway Films, West End Films, Pathe, and Altitude.
