Hit Brit movie The King’s Speech is leading the pack when it comes to Academy Award nominations, with a total of 12 nods including Best Film, Best Director (Tom Hooper), Best Supporting Actor (Geoffrey Rush) and Best Actor (Colin Firth). Hot on its heels are The Social Network and Inception, both with eight nominations, The Fighter with seven and 127 Hours with six.
