All Killer, No Filler: Re-inventing the action genre with NEW TOWN KILLERS
Richard Jobson turned director with 2003’s semi-autobiographical 16 YEARS OF ALCOHOL, which won a slew of five star reviews when it premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival that year.
He followed it with Scottish martial arts picture THE PURIFIERS, which starred LOST’s Dominic Monaghan and Kevin McKidd, and has gained a US cult following. After completing low-budget sci-fi romance A WOMAN IN WINTER, Jobson has stepped up a gear in terms of budget and production scale for his fourth feature in six years, NEW TOWN KILLERS. Costing more than his first three films put together, the thriller stars Dougray Scott.
