Ben Affleck wins DGA Award for ARGO –

According to Indiewire, Affleck now becomes only the third person in history to win the DGA but not get an Oscar nomination.

Other winners included Rian Johnson for television drama Breaking Bad, Malik Bendjelloul for his documentary Searching For Sugar Man, Lena Dunham for HBO comedy Girls and Jay Roach for Television and Mini-Series offering, Game Change.

Other winners of the DGA’s Lifetime Achievement and Service Awards included Milos Forman, Michael Apted, Eric Shapiro, Susan Zwerman and Dency Nelson.
