U.K. distrib Revolver, which is expanding its presence in the U.S., has acquired the North American and U.K. rights to TONY, from first-time helmer Gerard Johnson. U.K. release is set for early 2010.
Revolver has acquired several films for DVD release in the U.S. and plans to release its first theatrical pics in the U.S. early next year. The U.S. arm plans a mix of about a dozen films per year divided between homevid and theatrical releases.
